INSTRUCTIONS FOR
SUBMISSIONS

Dear Author,

Thank you very much for submitting your piece.

​

Please find below step-by-step instructions to submit your paper on the Corporate Crime Observatory and the related video.

  1. If you have been invited to contribute, you will receive an invitation email from the WiX platform, which is used by the Corporate Crime Observatory. Please take into consideration that by submitting the post you will accept implicitly the consent and release rules included at the bottom of this page.

  2. Once you have received the email, please accept the invitation by clicking on the "Accept Invite" button.

  3. When the invitation has been accepted you will be directed to a screen where you would have to create your WiX account to start collaborating as an author of the Corporate Crime Observatory.

  4. After filling in your details in the related form including email and choosing your password, click on the "Sign Up" button.

  5. Signing up you will be directed to the WiX authors' screen where you would be able to write your article directly on the platform by clicking on "+ Create New Post".

  6. Feel free to write your contribution directly on the platform or paste and copy it from another document. Please include a short and catching title as well as a brief abstract of 2/3 lines in bold at the beginning of the piece. 

  7. After having included your piece in the form, click on the "Submit for Review" button. Please note that if the button appears still gray please click once outside the post on the white area surrounding your piece to activate it, it will then become blue and clickable.

  8. As soon as your contribution is submitted it will be directed to the editors for final review and approval.

Consent and release rules

 

- By participating in the platform as an author you agree to the use of your personal data, written contributions, audio and video recordings - as well as extracts of them; the sounds and images of you caught in video recordings (this includes video, audio, as well as transcriptions or quotes of what you say); as well as the photographs taken/recorded during the events organized by the Corporate Crime Observatory for dissemination, scientific, marketing and publicity related purposes on websites, online platforms, and social networks used by the Corporate Crime Observatory, or by third parties the platform as established a partnership with. The copyright of all the written pieces as well as the video/audio recordings and/or photographs shall belong to the Corporate Crime Observatory. These writings, images, sounds, and video recordings may be uploaded and archived on the Corporate Crime Observatory website, using YouTube services, and/or other online repositories the platform has established a partnership with.

- By participating in the platform as an author you also confirm that you are aware that the above-mentioned material, including all the statements made in written submissions or during any events - as well as extracts of them, may be edited, copied, exhibited, published and/or distributed and that this material may be used individually or in conjunction with other media in any output, including without limitation to print publications, digital publications, and/or public broadcast for any lawful purpose (e.g., the statements made during the events may be quoted or mentioned in written reports, blog post, articles, and social media post, and other visual tools); and that the dissemination strategy of the Corporate Crime Observatory includes, inter alia, the use of social media (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook), use of online websites, publication of blog posts, publication of videos using YouTube services. There is no time limit on the validity of this release nor are there any geographic limitations on where these materials may be distributed. All the material and personal data may be stored and made publicly available indefinitely and your right to erasure (deletion) is restricted.
