Luisa Romano, PhD, Lawyer, Senior Associate

Areas of activity: corporate compliance, antibribery and personal data protection law.

Professional experience and training: Graduated with honors from the University of Salento, she holds a PhD in criminal law from University of Bologna and she is enrolled in the Bar Association of Bologna.

She is specialized in assisting Italian, foreign companies and multinational groups in several areas of compliance to Italian and EU legislation (antibribery, whistleblowing, H&S, personal data protection, e-privacy, e-commerce/website, cybersecurity, etc.). Moreover, she supports them in the design, implementation and testing of compliance programs in accordance with D.Lgs. no. 231 with the aim of reducing risk of fines and reputational damage.

She published several articles in specialized law reviews and she attended different seminars and conferences as a speaker.
